SEO Project/Account Manager
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced SEO Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects. The client focuses on growing brands from the ground up, working with both established and emerging leaders in their respective categories. The team leverages a repeatable, scalable playbook to achieve significant growth and impact for their select clients. As part of the growth team, you will learn and execute these proven strategies and tactics.
The ideal candidate has experience with content, SEO, and managing external stakeholders.
What You Will Work On
We expect you to hit the ground running on execution and gradually take on more strategic and account management responsibilities. Your work will be overseen by a senior PM who will guide you in increasing your impact and responsibility over the course of 6-12 months.
Strategy and Execution (80%)
- Participate in developing content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
- Define project objectives, project scope, roles, and responsibilities.
- Provide recommendations and support in the development of content strategy.
- Track, analyze, and report on website analytics.
- Execute SEO processes, including keyword research, topic selection, internal link implementation, and technical SEO tasks.
- Conduct competition analysis and derivation of trends.
- Support team members in executing client-facing deliverables.
- Regularly monitor KPIs, metrics, and statuses across all external projects and report to management.
Account Management (20%)
- Work on 3-4 projects at a time, overseen by a senior PM.
- Respond to client emails.
- Contribute to external meetings with clients.
- Prepare agendas and action items for internal team meetings and external meetings with clients.
- Track projects and provide regular reports on project status to the project team and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to and create new account management processes and documentation.
- Attend and contribute to internal team meetings.
- Track and assign project-related action items assigned to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience and Capabilities
- 3+ years of work experience in content marketing and/or SEO.
- Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns.
- Experienced in data analysis via Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Extensive experience in doing keyword research and creating content calendars and strategies.
- High-level skills in English.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team.
Good to Have (but not necessary)
- Advanced data analysis using Google Sheets (Excel).
- Advanced knowledge of SEO/SEM tools: Ahrefs/Semrush, ScreamingFrog/DeepCrawl (Lumar).
